lost is a shining example of why the major network 1-hour drama is a dying breed. the show-runners and writers use flashbacks and stupid twists to drag viewers along season after season for ratings and ad revenue. when people would be better to watch actual “good” shows like mad men, battlestar galactica, rescue me, dexter, or the wire (rip), they’re instead spending all their time trying to decipher strings of numbers and smoke monsters. it’s makes no sense because the writers have no idea what they’re doing, but if you say you don’t get it then you’re just labeled as stupid. it’s just bad television, but people eat it up like dancing with the stars and america’s next top douchebag. call me a snob, but i can’t think of a decent major network show save for law&order (svu and original recipe). can you?
