because i wasn’t already a 1337 txtr

so monday night i managed to completely juke my phone by breaking the charging connector/data port. the irony is that earlier that night i successfully replaced the battery in my old 5g ipod, bringing it back to life after months of slumber. through a series of rebates and discounts, i snagged an lg env2 from verizon for a net total of $3. i’m already a big fan of the full qwerty keyboard and sweet widescreen.
but the best part of getting a new phone is not only ditching a bunch of old numbers you never call anymore, but also being free of a bunch of txts your were holding on to “just in case.” see, i don’t know about you, but i’ve dealt with enough shady people to know when to hold on to shit that might come in handy down the road. there’s nothing like a paper trail to nail someone to the wall or catch them in a lie. at the same time, holding on to that shit can have adverse effects when you “accidently” go through them for whatever reason. it feels good to let go of the past.
that being said, the old phone still has a little battery left in it should i need some incriminating evidence. just in case.

Okay, so I’ve had a couple cocktails, but…1) WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE?? WTF. 2) I’m embarrassed that I know what 1337 means.
i’m allowed one cryptic, personal post a year.
