my ironic mustache

patrick swayze finally caught the ultimate wave yesterday.  and in the words of special agent johnny utah, “he’s not coming back.”

it’s no secret that i’m a huge swayze fan.  i even hosted “a very swayze christmas” last year at my house, a mini-swayze marathon on christmas night.  what’s funny about swayze is (was?) the fact that he was both a heart-throb and a badass.  reading my facebook newsfeed, the gender divide is pretty evident.  the ladies will miss sam wheat and johnny castle, the men bodhi and dalton.  and i think everyone can appreciate the awesomeness of his classic chippendales sketch with chris farley.  he was all things to all people, and by all accounts a nice guy.  he will be missed.
